Arthritis Panel
Rheumatoid Factor (RF) - This test is used in the detection and prognosis of autoimmune disorders of the joints.
C-reactive protein (CRP) - This test measures the level of systemic inflammation.
Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) - This test detects antibodies to nuclear antigens.
Uric Acid - This test is used to learn whether the body might be breaking down cells too quickly or not getting rid of uric acid quickly enough.
Complete Blood Count(includes Differential and Platelets) (CBC) - A complete blood count is used as a screening test for various disease states including anemia, leukemia and inflammatory processes. The blood differential test measures the percentage of each type of white blood cells you may have in your blood. It also reveals if there are any abnormal or immature cells. If abnormal cells are noted on a manual review, or if the automated differential information meets specific criteria, a full manual differential will be performed.
Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP) - A complete metabolic panel (CMP) is a blood test that measures your sugar level, electrolyte and fluid balance, plus kidney and liver function.
Sedimentation Rate Testing (Westernized) - This test is a type of blood test that measures how quickly erythrocytes (red blood cells) settle at the bottom of a test tube that contains a blood sample. Normally, red blood cells settle relatively slowly. A faster-than-normal rate may indicate inflammation in the body. Inflammation is part of your immune response system. It can be a reaction to an infection or injury. Inflammation may also be a sign of a chronic disease, an immune disorder, or other medical condition.
